Akara Design Studio's project for a newly built family home involved a full turnkey interior architecture service, including interior design, procurement, project management, and installation. The scope also included a proposed landscape architecture design, custom manufacturing, and store-bought décor, with a focus on styling and installation. 3D renders were utilized to bring the design vision to life.

Key aspects of the project included space planning, the selection of fittings and fixtures, decorative lighting, and layouts for electrical plug points and plumbing. The design featured custom cabinetry, bathroom vanities, bar design, tile layout, wall finishes, and sophisticated colour schemes. A combination of custom and store-bought furniture was used, along with curtains, blinds, and decorative elements like wall moulding and bathroom accessories. Custom mirrors were designed to complement the overall look, while the client selected their own art and sculptures.

The design theme reflected a luxurious, modern, and sophisticated aesthetic, speaking to both clients’ personalities. It balanced the classic, elegant preferences of the wife with the modern, contemporary style of the husband, resulting in a harmonious blend of masculine and feminine elements, characterized by light and dark colour schemes.
